Safety Guidelines

Familias First and our sister agency, CBC Education, Inc., have developed the following safety guidelines to keep employees and clients as safe as possible.

DAILY ATTESTATION

All employees are expected to complete the DAILY COVID-19 SYMPTOM FREE ATTESTATION form through Central Reach. A non-paid appointment will be entered in all employees’ schedules from 7:00 -7:15 am. Completion consists of checking that there are no symptoms, signing form and converting appointment. Form needs to be completed 2 hours before going to the client’s home and or going into the San Gabriel/El Monte office. Employees CAN NOT provide any services if form is not completed, this includes being denied entry into the offices.

If an employee marks YES to any of the questions on the Attestation form, he/she must contact their supervisor IMMEDIATELY. Do not sign attestation as you are NOT symptom free.

ARRIVING TO OFFICE

  • All staff should obtain approved to be at the El Monte or San Gabriel Office. There is a set capacity for each office and no one is to go to the office without being approved or scheduled.
  • Before arriving at the office symptom free attestation needs to be completed.
  • Masks are required to be worn at all times when being in the office.
  • Temperatures are taken when entering the office. In the El Monte office, you are required to wait by the side entrance, call the office so a Supervisor can check temperature before entering the building. Temperature needs to be lower than 100.4 in order to be allowed to enter.
  • After temperature is checked, staff needs to wash hands and/or use hand sanitizer.
  • When you sign in, use a clean pen. After signing in, place the pen that you have used into a “used” pen container.
  • Follow social distancing signs and markers.

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. It’s especially important to wash:

  • Before touching your face.

  • After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • After handling your face covering.

INCREASED SANITIZATION

  • On-site janitorial service during business hours.

  • Disinfecting includes, but not limited to: door handles, pens, bathroom, commonly touched surfaces.
  • Therapy rooms cleaned after every use and in between sessions.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Staff schedules staggered in order not to go over capacity.
  • Maximum number of staff at office: 10 at one time.
  • Caregivers/parents not allowed on site during sessions. Clients will be picked up and dropped off.
  • Limit of clients and staff in each therapy room (San Gabriel 2:1 ratio, El Monte 3:1 ratio).

LUNCHES AND BREAKS

Employee lunch and breaks should be taken in individual offices or offsite. The break room is limited to 1 person at a time.
