CBC Education celebrated 20 years of service to the community this month. Our staff enjoyed a joint anniversary/holiday party with our sister agency, Familias First.
CBC Education was incorporated in 2002. From the onset CBC espoused an integrative treatment model. Our agency first offered services to infants and toddlers through the Infant Development Program. The Floortime and Applied Behavior Analysis programs began serving children and their families shortly after. In 2012, CBC launched an innovative Social Skills Training Program geared toward clients from school age to adults.
Ruth Tello-Di Leva, our owner and Executive Director, is also the founder and CEO of Familias First. Ruth is the first Latina in California to own an agency that specializes in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Her experience as a first-generation woman of Mexican descent, solidified Ruth’s commitment to creating an organization providing quality services in an equitable manner to all clients, especially clients who are underserved in our field.
CBC Education is proud to serve a diverse community with a multicultural staff that understands our clients. We feel privileged to do the work we love and look forward to many more years to come.
