Our Floortime Program will be celebrating Halloween Week in our San Gabriel office October 24- 31. Staff and clients can wear their favorite costume.
We cannot wait for our staff and our clients to enjoy the fun-filled activities that we have planned. Just to give you an idea of what we plan on doing, we wanted to share some of the activities so you are aware. The color of the pumpkin represents the color of the room. Let the FUN begin!
Blue Pumpkin: Sensory day/night experience
Example of skills that can be targeted are: turn-taking, making requests and initiating interactions
Green Pumpkin: Spiderweb balancing game and Monster science balloon experiment
Example of skills that can be targeted are: reciprocating interactions, problem-solving, rule-governed play
Orange Pumpkin: Ghoulish arts/crafts
Example of skills that can be targeted are: problem-solving, parallel play and cooperative play
Yellow Pumpkin: Witches & Wizards house
Example of skills that can be targeted are: pretend, associative play, and opening/closing circles of communication
Red Pumpkin: Spooky sensory bottles and Pumpkin tic-tac-toe
Example of skills that can be targeted are: recovering from distress/self-regulation, onlooker play, parallel play, and cooperative play
