The San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center in association with the San Gabriel/Pomona Parents Place is hosting monthly meetings called Sibshops. The group will meet every third Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This program is for children ages 9-12 who have a sibling or family member with a disability.
Sibshops provides siblings with peer support and information in a fun, recreational setting. The kids can play games and meet other siblings who understand what it’s like to have a family member with a disability. It’s also a good opportunity to learn more about what types of services their family member receives.
